The Creative Futures Career Showcase is a program series that highlights working professionals who have found unique careers that utilize their art education and/or creative talents. Speakers will share their journey, wealth of experience, career advice, and present their portfolio of past and recent work. Anyone interested in hearing how these creative professionals found their niche in different areas of business and would like to gain insight into their careers can attend.

Saba Besier is a strategic and visionary interactive and rich media specialist with 20 years of strong hands on design experience, high integrity, leadership, and management. Specialized in interactive and rich media design with a diverse history of client work. Comprehensive expertise in elevating brands through online marketing.and broadcast. Her past client list includes Sony, The History Channel, Pfizer, Maybelline, Showtime, DeBeers, Becks Beer, M&M’s-Mars, Bayer, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Bloomingdale's, Mary Kay, and numerous emerging luxury home decor and fashion brands.
Besier is also a published and gallery-represented painter and ceramist. Her father, Dr. Shams Rasheed, was a prolific fine art photographer, and they collaborated on works together such as a series of paintings for Crate & Barrel.
A Pakistani-born American, she has spent her career and education living in London, New York, and Dallas. She received her BFA in Painting from the University of North Texas in Denton and her MFA in Painting & Digital Arts from Pratt in New York City.
