Harrison Blake (b. 2001; Dallas, TX) received a BA in 2022 in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas with a concentration in Art History. In their poems they often explore memory, desire and transfiguration through language. With terse diction and varying syntax, Blake’s writing deftly compresses the revelations and depressions of their life.
Blake’s writings appear and are forthcoming in digital and print publications including Driftwood Press, new words {press}, Just Keep Up Magazine and Glasstire. In 2023, they received the Glasstire North Texas Art Writing Prize for their selected work of art criticism. They currently live in Dallas, TX, where they work as the Press Release Writer and Gallery Associate for Erin Cluley Gallery.
