Angel Faz is a multi-disciplinary artist focusing on art interventions and reclamation of public space. Their studio practice has involved relief printmaking, monotypes, and digital projections. In May 2018, they completed a six-week residency in Puebla, Mexico where they honed their printmaking technique and researched their ancestral roots. For the past several years their work has explored Dallas's history and how the body exists in places with complex narratives. Their work has been described as art created to tear down walls rather than decorate them.

In 2021, Faz exhibited in We Know Who We Are We Know What We Want at Women & Their Work Gallery in Austin, Texas, curated by Vicki Meek. Collective Care, a hand-carved print, was internationally recognized in Amplifier's 2020 Global Call for Art and was recently included in the Prints & Photographs Division Online Catalog at the Library of Congress to preserve the history of this present moment. Faz’s most recent project, Arkikosa River, created a body of work called The Grammar of Animacy, which is the foundation of Remembering: Water Has a Memory, a project for 2021’s New Stories: New Futures, a temporary public art installation in Fort Worth, Texas.

Currently Faz lives in Dallas' Oak Cliff neighborhood and is a recipient of The Cedars Union Art and Equity Scholarship for Cohort 3.
