Reception: Saturday, July 11, 6:30-8 pm (RSVP HERE)
Open to the public – Oak Cliff Cultural Center, 223 Jefferson Blvd, Dallas, TX 75208
In partnership with The Oak Cliff Cultural Center, The Cedars Union is proud to announce SIDE x SIDE x SIDE, a farewell for the eighteen artists of The CU’s fifth incubator cohort. On view from July 8 through July 11, 2026 at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, the exhibition features new individual and collaborative works developed over the course of the artists’ 18-month residency and offers a powerful reflection on their shared time within the program.
Side x Side x Side is juried by The Cedars Union’s Curatorial Committee, a volunteer group comprised of current CU community artists and cohort alumni. The show highlights the depth, rigor, and diversity of practices cultivated within The CU’s arts incubator program. Working across painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, literature, and interdisciplinary forms, the artists bring distinct voices into conversation. As a farewell exhibition, SIDE x SIDE x SIDEmarks an important moment of transition for this group of artists. The works on view reflect their willingness to experiment, take risks, and grow their practices over a period of 18 months. At the same time, the exhibition looks ahead, offering a glimpse of where their work may go next.
