Our celebration of all things printmaking was a smash hit! Heavy Ink 2025 kicked off at Four Corners Brewing Co., where attendees carved and pulled their own block prints over a fresh craft beer. The party then rolled next door to The Cedars Union for a full day of printmaking action.
Visitors explored live letterpress demonstrations, collaborated on a surreal, mix-and-match print experience created by CU artists, and witnessed giant woodblock prints come to life under the wheels of a full-sized steamroller.

This celebration of all things printmaking kicks off at Four Corners Brewing Co., where you'll get to create your own block print over a craft beer. Then the party gets inkier next door at The Cedars Union with live letterpress demos, a chance to collaborate on a surreal custom print by CU artists, and witness MASSIVE woodblock prints pressed by a commercial steamroller.
Guests also browsed and bought limited-edition works from local university print clubs, along with zines, posters, and hand-pulled prints at accessible prices. One lucky winner took home a massive steamroller print by a CU artist—proceeds from the raffle went directly to supporting The Cedars Union’s mission to empower emerging creatives in Dallas.
