POUR PAINTING

Pour painting is a simple technique resulting in swirling, colorful palettes. In this lesson painter Lori Maclean will teach participants the basics of pour painting, helping with pour techniques, swirl patterns, and color selection. This class is an excellent choice for adults and families with children ages 8 and up. Each participant will leave with two 8x8’’ canvases.

This class only requires one lesson and can be completed in 2 hours, or 1.5 hours for a single student. Estimated prices are $45/hr for 1 student, $55/hr for 2 students, and $70/hr for three students. The best meet times for Lori are Saturday between 1pm and 4pm and Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Please contact info@cedarsunion.org for questions or scheduling.

Painter Lori Maclean works as an artist and resides Dallas Texas and is a part of The Cedars Union’s Cohort 2. After finishing her BFA in painting at York University, Ontario Canada, she moved to Texas where she completed her MFA in Painting at Texas Woman’s University.
