Gallery Practices and Etiquette w/ Erin Cluley

September 27 @ 1:15 pm - 2:45 pm

Open to the Public

Join gallerist and curator Erin Cluley as she discusses the various ins-and-outs of navigating a relationship with a gallery. Wanna learn how your work fits into a gallerists roster? What gap are you filling in a gallery’s roster? During this lecture, Erin will discuss “art world etiquette 101”, how to amplify your presence in the local art scene, preparing for a successful studio visit, and how to cultivate meaningful relationships with gallerists.

Erin Cluley Gallery is a contemporary art gallery exhibiting emerging and mid-career artists based in Dallas and the East Coast of the United States. The gallery presents a provocative program of artists working in both traditional and alternative forms including painting, sculpture, new media, photography, sculptural installation and public intervention.

In conjunction with mounting exhibitions inside the gallery space, Erin Cluley Gallery maintains a focus on presenting public projects conceptualized by the gallery’s artists. Negotiating projects on the artists’ behalf, the gallery sees this as an ongoing part of the exhibition program and an impactful contribution to public art in Dallas.
