Funded in part by Dallas’s Office of Art and Culture, The Cedars Union Teen Mural Camp is a week long learning experience for 10 DISD high school students. Selected students will work with CU artists and muralists Jeremy Biggers (Stem and Thorn), Hatziel Flores, and Mari Pohlman (Marpohl) to create a collaborative mural along the Sante Fe Trail near Deep Ellum. Students will develop a mural around a central theme, learn technical skills for painting murals, and be introduced to the business of working with a site, client, and community for a large scale project.
