Private Studio Reception

The summer Studio Reception allows artists to bring in gallerists, collectors, friends and family. The event is by invitation only. If you are a gallerist or a journalist and would like to request an invitation, please email adrienne@cedarsunion.org. The Cedars Union gives tours on Fridays at 3pm and 6pm. Starting and ending at The Cedars Union, artists and friends will walk to Lee Harvey’s and Mike’s Gemini Twin picking up trash from the streets. Suminagashi Workshop

Suminagashi, meaning “floating ink,” is a Japanese marbling process involving the suspension of ink in water. Create swirling surfaces with different techniques on paper and silk with printmaking artist Adrienne Lichliter. $25 for CU Member Artists; $40 for public. All materials included in ticket price.
